Child Safety Policy

1. Zero Tolerance Policy
VirtualDrive maintains an absolute zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any content that sexually exploits or endangers minors. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind
- Content that sexually exploits minors
- Content that endangers children's safety
- Grooming behavior targeting minors
- Any solicitation of sexual content involving minors
- Non-consensual intimate imagery involving minors
Accounts found to contain or distribute any such material will be immediately suspended, all content will be preserved as evidence, and the matter will be reported to law enforcement and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by law.
2. Legal Obligations
VirtualDrive complies with all applicable laws regarding child safety and exploitation, including:
- 18 U.S.C. § 2258A — mandatory reporting of apparent CSAM to NCMEC
- PROTECT Our Children Act — electronic service provider reporting obligations
- COPPA — Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (users under 13 are not permitted)
- All applicable international laws in jurisdictions where we operate
Upon discovery of apparent CSAM, we are legally required to report to NCMEC within 24 hours. We will fully cooperate with law enforcement investigations, including preserving evidence and responding to lawful legal process.
3. How to Report
If you encounter any content on VirtualDrive that you believe violates this policy or depicts child exploitation:

Email safety@virtualdrive.us with as much detail as possible including the file URL, uploader information if known, and a description of the content. Do not download or share the material.
Report to NCMEC CyberTipline
The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children operates the CyberTipline at missingkids.org/cybertipline or 1-800-843-5678. You can report directly to them without reporting to us first.
All reports are treated with strict confidentiality. We respond to all safety reports within 24 hours. We will not disclose the identity of reporters except as required by law.
4. Our Response Process
Upon receiving a report or discovering potential CSAM:
- Immediate action (within 1 hour): Suspend the reported account and restrict access to the reported content
- Review (within 4 hours): Safety team reviews the report
- Legal reporting (within 24 hours): If confirmed CSAM, report to NCMEC CyberTipline as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A
- Law enforcement cooperation: Preserve all evidence and cooperate fully with law enforcement
- Permanent removal: Permanently delete the content and terminate the account
5. Prevention Measures
VirtualDrive takes the following preventive measures:
- Minimum age requirement of 13 years (16 in the EU) for account registration
- Blocking of executable and script file types to prevent distribution of harmful software
- Audit logging of all account activity for investigation purposes
- Admin tools for rapid account suspension and content removal
- Cooperation with industry groups and law enforcement on child safety initiatives
6. Age Requirements
VirtualDrive is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personal information from or provide service to children under these ages. If we become aware that a minor under the applicable age limit has created an account, we will immediately terminate the account and delete associated data. Parents or guardians who believe their child has registered should contact us at safety@virtualdrive.us.
